Daily Delight: Tending the Pilot Light
Everybody wants to talk about their big, roaring bonfire moments. The promotions, the victories, the sold-out shows. That's cute. The real ones know the secret to power isn't the bonfire. It's the pilot light.
That tiny, stubborn, blue flame deep in your soul that refuses to go out, even when the world is cold and dark. That is your divine inheritance. That is the source code of your spirit. The bonfire is for show; the pilot light is for survival. It is the sacred guarantee that you can always, always reignite. Life will send winds and floods designed to extinguish you. The real work, the holy work, is knowing what protects that flame.
The Play, Pray, Practice:
Today, your practice is a Fuel Audit. Grab a piece of paper or open a new note. On one side, list three things (a person, a task, a thought) that have felt like water on your flame recently, things that dampened your spirit. On the other side, list three things that were pure fuel, things that made that inner pilot light burn brighter and stronger. No judgment. Just awareness. The goal is to simply know what feeds your fire and what puts it out. This knowledge is the fortress around your flame.
