This May, Sisterhood Sit-In honors Mental Health Awareness Month.
We’re turning the Digital Kitchen into a sanctuary of healing, legacy, and liberation.
ROOTED in Mental Wellness is a call to reclaim our rest, protect our peace, and invest in systems of care that center Black women and improve quality of life for everyone.
At the heart of our work is this belief:
Mental wellness is not just personal, it’s political. It’s ancestral. And it’s economic.
Through curated events, AI-powered support from Nana, and intentional storytelling, we are creating spaces that affirm our worth and redirect dollars to Black women entrepreneurs whose offerings are the medicine.
Every purchase, every partnership, every voice amplified inside the Digital Kitchen helps fund the very folks who are building new systems of wellness from the ground up.
This month, we honor mental health while we circulate joy, dignity, and dollars.
We are ROOTED. And we are investing in our healing.

As the 40-day period of economic abstinence from corporations like Target concludes, the question isn't if our dollars have power, but where we strategically direct it next. ROOTED 2025 is that direction.
Our goal: REDIRECT $25 Million into Black communities by intentionally investing in Black Women in Business nationwide. Don't think of this as a reaction; it's a coordinated economic creation, fueled by ancestral wisdom and future vision.

For ROOTED 2025, PROTEST transcends reaction; it is the sacred, multifaceted, intentional act of building the liberated future we demand, right here, right now.

Reset as Protest: This is the intentional pause to listen – deeply – to community wisdom, ancestral guidance, and the spirit's direction. It’s breaking cycles, refusing to repeat ineffective patterns, and realigning our collective strategy with clarity, courage, and foresight.

REDIRECT as Protest: This is the economic engine of our liberation. It’s the conscious, collective, unapologetic movement of our resources – our $1.5 Trillion power, our attention, our brilliance – away from systems that do not serve us, and pouring them directly into the Black women entrepreneurs and community anchors who do. We build our own tables. We circulate our own wealth.

REVIVE as Protest: This is breathing LIFE – joy, culture, spirit, innovation – back into the heart of our communities through focused investment and radical celebration. It’s planting seeds, nurturing dreams, funding the arts, supporting the healers, and actively manifesting a thriving, Afrofuturist reality where Black women lead and prosper.
