Group Rules
Our Sacred Commitments: Keeping Our Circle Strong
Welcome home to ROOTED in MENTAL WELL ESS The Rainbow SoulCast: To ensure this space remains a sanctuary for healing, vulnerability, and finding our rainbows together, we ask every member to embrace these commitments with an open heart. Think of these as the loving boundaries that allow us all to show up fully and safely. We Honor This Sacred Space & Each Other: Treat this digital circle with reverence. What's shared here, especially personal stories and feelings, stays here – like secrets whispered over the kitchen table between trusted family. Respect each person’s unique journey, background, and perspective. Listen (or read) more than you speak.
Speak Your Truth, Witness Deeply
Speak Your Truth, Witness Deeply: We encourage authenticity. Share from your own experience ("I feel," "I experienced") rather than making generalizations. Equally important is the practice of deep witnessing – holding space for another’s story without interrupting, judging, or centering yourself. Both sharing and quiet presence are valuable contributions.
Hold with Compassion, Not Judgment
Hold with Compassion, Not Judgment: We meet each SoulScream, each moment of vulnerability (ours and others'), with compassion. This is a judgment-free zone. We understand that healing is messy, non-linear, and looks different for everyone. Assume positive intent, extend grace freely.
Tend, Don't Fix
Tend, Don't Fix: We are here to support, not to save or solve. Please resist the urge to give unsolicited advice, diagnose, or "fix" another member's situation. Often, the greatest gift is simply presence and acknowledgment ("I hear you," "Thank you for sharing," "I'm holding space for that"). Offer resources only if specifically asked.
Engage Mindfully & Respect Boundaries
Engage Mindfully & Respect Boundaries: Participate at the level that feels right for you each day – no pressure. Keep posts and comments relevant to our group's focus (Mental Health Awareness, the Daily SoulCast, shared healing). This isn't the space for unrelated promotions, spam, or excessive outside links. Honor your own capacity and the capacity of others.
Uphold Sisterhood & Belonging
Uphold Sisterhood & Belonging: This ground is fertile only for respect, equity, and love. We have zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any form of hate speech or personal attack that diminishes the light or dignity of another member. We strive to make this a space where all who identify with sisterhood feel seen, valued, and safe
Know When to Seek Deeper Support
Know When to Seek Deeper Support: While this space is supportive and therapeutic in nature, it is not a replacement for professional therapy or crisis intervention. We encourage everyone to seek appropriate professional help when needed. If you are in immediate crisis, please reach out to a crisis hotline or mental health professional.
