As part of ROOTED 2025’s nationwide movement, this special Freedom Route will take you on a journey through time, celebrating the legacy of Black entrepreneurs, artists, and revolutionaries who shaped these two legendary districts. Together, we honor Black excellence, economic strength, and the power of collective action in NYC.
